Product definitely gets the job a lot quicker than hand sanding. Decided to link it to a vacuum instead of the bag. My only real issue is that it constantly shocks your hands. Not sure if it static shock, but it definitely gives a sting a few times while running.Works great for me, I use it to sand drywall.It is of good size and light, that facilitates the work.It has good lighting.You should keep in mind that its rounded shape does not allow it to reach the corners, and half of the dust falls on the floor not in the bag, that could improve.I had to redo the ceilings in my home and I was really not wanting to hand jive the entire thing. Bought this and was able to knock out all the sanding on my 1500 square foot home in under an afternoon. Did the final coat of mud and was able to use fine grit on the entire thing in under an hour. The bag sucks, but hooking it to a small shop vac works really well. I can over look the bag thing.I did have a problem with the switch dying after a couple hours of work, emailed their support and they overnighted me a new switch free of charge. That is great service.I think I need to adjust the pad platform. Because it seems to only hit on one edge. Was able to sand the ceiling, walls of a 2 bedroom job in considerable less time.Pros= time saver! Great sanding ability. Light works great.Cons= heavy, even for my husband who does physical labor for a living and has strong arms. Suction works very minimally with provided suction device (Do yourself a favor and HOOK to SHOPVAC!!! Works so great once you do this!) Handle is a little awkward but totally functional. Tape the suction hose and power cord to each other every 1 for and you won't get tangled or trip over it.I hate sanding drywall mud. This makes it so much faster worth the money for the speed and convenience. This is great for shoulder height and lower. Start it flat on surface and move it don't let it sit in one spot or lift on one end, it will gouge fast. LED lights are super bright and you can see what needs attention. Not too heavy, once you rest it on the wall and move it around it doesn't feel as heavy.It is super loud with a high pitch, get some hearing protection for sure. Hooked a shop-vac for dust with duct tape to control dust. Bag is totally worthless.Dont skip this product if you do any drywall work. We recently purchased and now won't do finish work without it. If you are scraping popcorn off the ceiling this sander is a must as it makes quick work of the final sand before priming your new smooth ceiling.
