AwesomeThis is perfect for small jobs around the house, crafts, etc... Small motor does well for most tasks. Great price and value for what you get.I read all the bad reviews on this product and decided to purchase one anyway. I like this disc sander/belt sander combination. ONLY problem is that when first turned on, you have to push the belt to get the unit turning/running. Other than that It works really well and I have used it on several kydex projects without fail. I like the unit for the projects I do with it but I think that if someone were to put a heavier object like a thicker piece of wood, I don't think the unit would have the power to handle it.I just got this in the mail and had got it setup within 10 minutes. It took me a minute to figure out how to use the belt alignment screw but I got it tracking well. I will use this to make red oak board bows and it seems its just the right size for my shop. there is some upgraded safety features(belt guards) that ill probably take off so I can sand longer material. the product picture doesn't show the guards at the end of the belt or on the disk.Nice productThe motor could be stronger and faster or variable. The instructions lack detail enough to know how to change the angle of the belt sander.Still going strong, however, and for the price I've been able to complete many projects. If you expect a high power belt sander, you shouldn't be looking in this price range. For this price though, this thing performs fine. When digging something into it I can definitely stall it. It just requires being a little more gentle. One major criticism I have is that the table attachment is no good. It'll hold up for a while, but will not be very sturdy. My table eventually broke off. Now I just freehand parts. It's still very useful, and for the price it's a good addition to a small home shop. This is my first purchase and use of this type of tool. I came to me quicker than expected. The directions leave a little to be desired. One of the screws that hold disc shroud on was stripped. One of the screws that hold the motor together fell out. The picture on the box does not show the disc shroud, and the belt sander rest was installed wrong. These are not a problem to me. I like the fact that there is hardly any plastic on it. I bought it for wood shaping and detail sanding. I am pleased with my purchase. I am pleased with this purchase.
