I was searching for a more affordable replacement for a similar item I had been using for over 11 years.....After browsing and perusing around I kept returning to this particular item, so I dug in and read the reviews... Hating to 'change' from the original, more expensive brand I'd used for many years (I am one who doesn't just dislike change, I hate it lol)... I decided to give this one a go; as I could always return it)...I was careful when opening (not to tear, shred and rip at the box like some ravaged beast) in case I did need to return it. I plugged up and allowed it to get a full charge and gave her a go. I love the way it comfortably fits either hand, it quickly and nearly effortlessly powered through my dry heels, yet gently removing the little areas of simple dry skin from the soles of my feet and the worst task I saved for last was like the side edge of each big toe and it removed all that just as easily... The only drawback and difficult part of the entire situation was pulling, stretching and contorting myself so as to reach my damn feet...at 54 I'm not nearly as bendy and flexible as I once was. I usually don't write reviews and I apologize for this being a blah, blah, blah loooong one. The short of it is, don't let price keep you from trying this. I couldn't be more pleased with it and also the two extra roller pads are a great sort of extra thrown in...If you're undecided or not sure I hope this review will help.Own Harmony provides exceptional customer service - which is so rare today - and an outstanding product! They gave prompt attention to my concern (my device that was into its 16th month of ownership but still under their 18th month warranty was not working properly or performing as it had in the beginning) and a speedy resolution. And this was over a holiday weekend! I originally contacted them about the problem on Sunday, Sept. 4th and I had a response from them via email the next day. After answering a few questions and sending a pic of my device, I had my replacement item by the next Sunday! They stand out not only in customer service, but also in their product and warranty. I love this tool and I’m so glad to have a working device again. I appreciated all their help, professionalism, concern, efficiency, and excellent customer service. I definitely recommend the Own Harmony Electric Callus Remover: Rechargeable Electronic Foot File CR900! It is a wonderful tool for foot care.I'm in my 60's and never thought much about the calluses on my feet until I retired and those calluses started to give me problems like cracking so badly they would bleed and getting caught in my carpet, making it hard to take my socks on and off so I first started with a gadget that had a razor blade in it and that worked fairly well as long as your paying attention but it would only get some of the callus off and still left quit a bit to be dealt with but how.?I finally stumbled upon this Own Harmony callus remover but with one look I thought I could just use a Dremel sanding drum bit and accomplish the same thing as this Harmony device and so that's what I tried to do and let me advise you of this, NOT a great idea, but it will take off chunks of your foot pretty quickly, so after that idea didn't work so well I bought this harmony.I don't write reviews so I didn't think to take any pictures but really should have taken some just to show how bad my feet were and where they are getting to now.I am now on the third go a round with this device and it works pretty good,This device for my feet is more like the smooth sanding sort of device and it takes a long time for me to make progress with it but I am happy with what it does and it smooths out the rough spots real well but it's going to take a number of attempts to get to where I'd like to be, my feet had calluses maybe a half inch thick or more, pretty bad I'll tell you that.My feet are now getting pretty darn soft and I've finally worked down past the depth of the cracks that were in my calluses and that is still using that razor blade device to carefully remove some of the more stubborn callus and then I spend about an hour grinding away with this device and when I've had enough for one day the towel I lay down to catch the stuff off my feet will be covered with very fine powdered callus stuff that I take out side to shake out. Then I use some of that cream they sell up at the top of this page and that softens up my feet pretty good. It's real nice now to be able to walk on my carpet and not get my calluses hung up in the rug and being able to put socks on and off easily. This device does what it was made for but if your feet are as bad as mine were don't expect to get your feet all baby soft on the first try, like I mentioned I just did my 3rd round with this device and even though the instructions say to only use it for 2-3 seconds on a spot I've sat there and used it on a callus for well over a couple minutes just letting this gadget grind away, the motor is plenty strong enough as well.So I gave it all the five stars and now the owners of this company can stop sending me emails asking if I'm happy, I am HAPPY, and I wrote the review you asked for and YOU are a good company in my opinion so thank you very much you sell a good product. My suggestion is that if your feet are really bad, get one of those razor blade gadgets and one of these Harmony callus sanders and some of that softening cream and soak your feet to get them softer and get to work.I think maybe 3 more tries with this process I've got going and sanding them down with this Harmony and my feet will be softer than I ever remember, so great little callus sander and I'd say it's worth the money as well, good luck.Edit: I couldn't comment under the comment box so thought I'd try here.Hi Petya,Your messages were not excessive, I was sort of joking, your messages were full of helpful tips.Since I wrote this review I've done maybe 5 more treatments and always finish with your Harmony as the final process and my feet have never been better, at least not that I remember. My situation had to be a worse case scenario so it did require the extra razor tool to cut off the extremely thick calluses but what I did not have was a tool that would smooth everything out and your tool did the job perfectly and I'm extremely happy and my feet are probably about as good as it will get so now all I have to do is keep using just your tool after my showers to keep everything under control and keep my feet soft like they are now. Now your Harmony can be used precisely as intended,Thanks Again, you are great..!GaryUpdate- i have discovered i accidentally used the wrong charger. Since this CAN cause it to malfunction, I am upgrading to 4 stars. I don't know for certain what caused the break-down.ORIGINAL- Worked well until it stopped working. Used it about 4 times and now it won't turn on.There are no cons, only pros. Beautifully designed, eay to hold, easy to use, holds charge plenty long. Recharges quickly. Also, it is small enough that I can shave calluses off the insides of my toes. There was one at WalMart more expensive than this one, and it was so big and clunky I could not possibly have done inside my toes with it.One thing that would be nice would be a "low battery" indicator, so I would know when to recharge, but product still absolutley is FIVE STAR!Thank you, eHarmony!reaI am going to read the negative reviews to see what reasons buyers could possibly have to rate this item 1 star.Removing calluses with a pumice stone in the shower is difficult, time consuming and nowhere near as effective. The Electric Callus Remover is used on dry feet; therefore, it can be used anywhere and anytime. I couldn't be more pleased! That it does the trick for my husbands calluses. He was runner and horrible calluses on both feet. What a blessing he is able to do and keep his feet in “shape” thanks. At least now I’m not having to do it.I loved this initially until I realised you can’t get refill rollers in uk. They have stock distribution problems apparently. Buy scholl product instead as you can buy refill rollers (branded and non branded) easily in uk.So I bought this in lockdown as I can’t get a pedicure.. not like Iv had one in the last year but you want everything you can’t have! Was a toss up between this and those foot mask type peels, anyway chose this as more usage. Went for the men’s one as thought it must be stronger/better. Anyway. Worked a treat. Needs a usb type plug.. charged for 2 hours and away I went. Probably spent 30 mins going over both feet and I have baby soft feet now. No more cracked heel, no more hard sole, just beautiful soft feet. I didn’t do any prep just washed and dried. Once I used the machine I popped some cocoa butter on and away I went. I work in care so this will be a godsend for some of my colleagues! You won’t regret buying this.Updated to 3 weeks after use.. feet are still soft. Went over both feet for a top up and rubbed on some cocoa butter again. Lovely.I received this today and worked straight from the box.I immediately set about my feet and I only did them yesterday with a Scholl. The Scholl is now in the dustbin. After using this I now would definitely say that it is the best on the market and is the dogs dangly bits of a machine. There is one thing I didn't really like: On the box it says (Highlighted on the picture) 3 in 1 - suitable for hands, feet and elbows. Now have a look at the highlighted on the warning page of the instructions, it says "The callus remover is only for use on the feet and heels. Do not use this device anywhere else on the body. So, it is actually contradicting itself. Take a look at the pictures?Overall though it is a super duper callus/hard skin remover. I would hope it will last a while for the price but does seem to be very well made and I can also see spare rollers on Amazon so no problems there if you need rollers.I find that the supplied rollers are fine for a mans hard skin and I wouldn't think anyone would want the coarse rollers.I think the coarse rollers would be far too abrasive for even the hardest of skin. Maybe they will be okay for sanding down a front door before paining but Amazon have them in case you need them.As I say for the price I hope they will last a long time. I have given 5 stars all round as I think this is worth it.I am so impressed with this product.I ordered this late in the evening, choosing next day delivery. It had arrived by 9Pm the next day.As well as the callous remover, the box includes an instruction manual, 2 spare roller heads, a charger and a brush for cleaning the device.I felt so self conscious about my feet as they were so dry and cracked.Using the callus remover was painless and it was actually very satisfying to see little dust clouds of dry skin coming off of my feet (lol).Using this has removed the majority of dead skin on my feet in just one session. :) Summer is almost here and I can finally wear sandals and wedges without the worry of people seeing and judging my feet :)WORTH EVERY PENNY! :) thanks :)NOTE~If you’re still doubting buying it, see my before and after picture. My feet feel and look so soft. I’m so pleased :)Trust me....buy it! Don't hesitate and don't bother with other brands. Mine arrived Saturday and must confess both heels needed major attention. I charged this first time over night (10 hours + as per instructions) and then got cracking Sunday no pun intended. I used 3 times on the first day, moisturizing heavily after each time. Have used once once since and have to say by day 3 they are very close to brand new! Another week few days of usage and they will be. Immediately soft and smooth. Delighted. Excellent product. Just what I needed. Wish i'd bought ages ago! Get one, and ignore anyone who suggests this isn't heavy duty enough to tackle bad situations. It is, just be patient, follow pre and post usage instructions for best results. I would say its great it comes with spare refill rollers, as I think I'll be replacing soon. Once in maintenance mode, I would expect them to last decent amount of time.
