The holes in the pad won't align with any sandpaper I know of. Plan on buying a new pad if you want it to vacuum dust. contrary to the reviews stating valve issues, DONT FORGET TO OIL THE AIR INTAKE. oddly it doesn't mention oiling anywhere on the box. I put about 8 drops of oil in every other use. I put a drop on the valve stem too.I had bought the Harbor freight Baxter 6 inch sander and it cost roughly around 80 bucks and used the heck out of it. I thought I bought a great DA sander till this one came along.The Harbor Freight brand had the adhesive backing. Although I could switch the disc I wanted to buy a second DA sander with hook and loop so I seen this one for 35 bucks on Amazon and figure I would take a chance on it. Let me tell you the quality of this sander is so much better then the harbor freight brand for a lot less money. I used it for the first time today and was so impressed with it. The performances of this machine is amazing! What more can I say.I used for some body work. it works really good and wasn't using a lot of air and had adjustable intensity. good buy for the money. it should do many many jobsMotor burnt out on this already after less than a month owning. Was used for a total of around four hours and that’s all it would take. Not consecutively either, maybe 20 minutes was the longest at one time.The only part that I may have concerns in the future is the Velcro that holds pad is very small, holds sandpaper pad well but I think care must be taken to prevent it from clogging, but so far so good. Overall very pleased with purchase, no concerns other than thatLove that has variable speeds, awesomeThis is a good sander for the money but it eats air like crazy. Need a 200 gal tank or bigger for this thing.Great sander for finishing aluminum and steel. I’m not a paint and body person. I use it to finish metal before bending or welding. I have big hands and this DA fits me just right. I can control the speed fairly well. The palm shape allows me to really fine tune the pressure as well. Very happy with the purchase.Perfect for my project and others in the future
