DEWALT DWE6423 5-Inch Variable Speed Random Orbit Sander - Perfect for Woodworking, Sanding & Finishing Projects

I love super love this sander. It’s practical, easy to maneuver , sands so good! I’ve had other brand sanders and I had to give away the other ones. This one, by far is the best sander I’ve ever owned ! I had to order two! If this one ever breaks , I’ll get the same one all over again! I work with this sander to sand my dressers and furniture I repurposed!I use this all the time! It’s so easy to use that I didn’t even bother with the directions like I usually do with all my other tools when first using them. The different speeds are great as well.This is a Dewalt, no complaints.Easy to use. Just be careful that it could jerk in one direction and hit your skin with the sandpaper and cause harm (as any power tool could)Easy to use and much quitter than I thought.For the price, awesome. You can buy sanding papers, and soft pads to go with it and it will eliminate onerous large area sanding completely. I have used it for building furniture, refinishing cabinets, and repairing car damage. Light enough for my 110 pound lady to use with ease.This has a great ergonomic design and fits well in my hand. The performance is greatIt's easy to use and does a great job!In spite of a customer service conversation where the support person said 'it will be compatible', 'it will work fine', 'we do sell the products when it does meet the full criteria for the area on which is being shipped to (sic)', the sander was rated at 120v and had a US two-pin plug. In the UK we have a 240v supply and a three pin plug. Would have been dangerous to have tried to use it in the UK without a step-down transformer. No word about this in the product descriptioncomes with a very unusable USA plug but not the USA! I also got an adapter to convert it to but did not fit it. Had to return both items Due to this why Sell an item on an Amazon Uk website for items not fit to use! Even getting messed about by Amazon for a refundfirst thing out of the box , you can tell its a quality item, the ergonomics are great , fits perfectly in the hand , low vibrations, and the dust bag is so simple and quite efficient , it has an easy twist on and off disconnectThis product, while being Dewalt and a good item does not work in Australia. It is 110v and not compatible with Australian homes. Do not be tempted to try and either fit your own plug or use a travel adapter, you will kill the machine.This should be made VERY clear in the sales that is is only 110v compatible should be removed from the AU website.Should not be allowed to sell product for australian market as product arrives with american socket, despite using converter machine started smoking, rpm regulator was not working of course as voltage issue been on 110-120V for american electricity network.
