The product worked great for finishing a garage. Kept dust level down and made fast work of smoothing out the joints. Would recommend this product for sure. The only thing I would recommend is to use a big shopvac if you have one due to a smaller one getting clogged much faster.This product worked very well for removing a popcorn ceiling , although due to the extensive dust the collector bag didn’t work well , I even hooked it up to my shop vacuum and it still held a lot of dust in the head of the unit . Therefor every time my arm got tired , I turned the sander over and the dust spilled out on the floor making quite a mess … as a sander it works great … but it needs to have a better dust collection method , that being said , I still would recommend this productFirst one arrived broken, customer service was excellent sent brand new one out asap.Great product.It is a tad heavy ,not unreasonable but if it could be lighter it would be nice.Its suction power is weakI connected the unit to a shop vac and was very pleased with the result. This of course wipes out the shop vac filter in short order so a water trap unit will solve this and this would require a long suction hose , not a show stopper.All in all a good unit for small jobs , I do not know how long it hold up under continuous hours of use.Works well just half the led light stopped working the first use .I purchased to make prepping to paint our 12 foot ceilings easier. First off, let’s look at the very most basic feature of it; rotary sanding. It does an excellent job at it. It takes a knuckle busting and unforgiving, back breaking job and speeds it up a hundred times. Not to mention makes it a thousand times less physical. That’s the goal of any good tool, and one it very well accomplishes.Now I have used other rotary sanders in the past, but this one extends to over 5 feet. Combined with out height, it allowed my son and I to very comfortably sand our walls without kneeling, or climbing ladders. No need for stilts, or scaffolds cut the job time by an order of magnitude.Cleaning up is the other really big nasty demon connected to sanding, This machine has been a huge time saver!All of the features on this tool work exceptionally well. It has a solid heft while not being overweight. I like that it gets the job done, and doesn’t mean I have to compromise. All around it is an excellent tool! totally worth the price!What did I like about the sander? I like the variable speed for different sanding option, also like removable side guard for edge sanding. Things I don’t like about the sander, weight of sander a little on the heavy side but ok. Extension handle to long for small rooms, needs a shorter extension. LED lights are nice when they all stay on. Also getting electrical shock at times through the main handle. Overall would be an excellent sander if it were not for the extension being to long, LED lights not staying on and the shock hazard. Hope these issues can be resolved.Tool is heavy and hard to keep on ceilings for long periods but overall does work good
